I had another great visit with my doctor for a follow-up. I had lumbar vertebrae L4 to L5 fusion surgery last summer. Dr. Porter is very patient. and very attentive and he listens. He always seems to take his time and make you feel comfortable. I never have felt rushed. I think he's a wonderful doctor and i've heard nothing else but that from everyone else who's met him. He saved my life and made it much more comfortable with much less back pain. The issues I still have is something to do with muscle and core weakness. These are things that only I can do something about and I intend to continue my physical therapy at home. Dr. Porter and his staff are the premier team for back surgery. I had several other surgeons look at my back before Dr. Porter examined me. The team managed to get me scheduled for all of the tasks necessary to do a complex surgery like this one. The surgery went well and I was in the recovery phase as planned. All of my concerns were taken care of and now that it has been a year since the surgery I couldn’t ask for more. I highly recommend Dr. Porter and his team!

Dr. Porter has been my neurosurgeon since 2017. He is the best! He is a consummate professional who has a passion for medicine. Spinal surgery is scary, but I know I have the best! I don’t know where to start but will start with saying I don’t think I would be alive today had it not been for Dr Randall Porter. From the first time I met Dr Porter I felt confident that he was the best Neurosurgeon for me. No one wants to hear they have a brain tumor. He and his staff put me at ease. Dr Porter was kind, compassionate and took the time to explain the whole procedure and the recovery . I was confident I had made the right decision with Barrow and Dr Porter. Unfortunately I had every complication that could happen to one person and almost died twice. Through the last 16 months, 7 brain surgeries and countless hospital and rehabilitation stays, Dr Porter and his staff ( Jasmine, Andrew and Melissa) were compassionate, took the time to help me understand what was going on and were always there for me. Every doctor should model after Dr Porter. I just can’t say enough about Dr Porter as a doctor and a person.

Dr Porter has done 2 microdiscetomies for me.- 19 years later I need a 3rd. Dr Porter is so nice and straight to the point. If you’re looking for a Dr to perform surgery on your back do yourself a favor and please call his office, wait for him-there’s a reason he’s booked up for so long-it’s because he’s the best!!

Dr. Porter was great. He clearly explained my best options, he explained all pros and cons of each option and took the time to listen and address all my questions. He was able to help me make a decision, while taking into account my individual needs.

I was so lucky to have found Dr. Porter. Although my recovery is a slow process do to a nerve regeneration I am moving to a full recovery. I would recommend Dr. Poter to any one who needs spinal surgery for their disability. He and his staff so kind and professional. As I said, I am so lucky to have found him.

Dr. Porter is an outstanding surgeon and a delightful human being. His offer to pray with me before surgery convinced me that he was a man of faith who recognizes that God is in charge and provided him the skills to heal. Dr. Porter is such an amazing surgeon. I had a plethora of issues with my back including lumbar spinal stenosis, herniated lumbosacral discs, spondylolisthesis, radiculapathy...the list goes on. I have been in excruciating pain for years but now 2 months out after a 6 hour surgery, I am practically pain free. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Porter and believe that God uses his surgical skills to heal people. I am so blessed because of my referral to Dr. Porter. Love him!!!
