Dr. Rashmi Arvind Kulkarni, MD

Dr. Kulkarni is a very professional and thorough physician. She goes the extra mile to follow-up and follow through to ensure patient care. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Kulkarni gave me a thorough medical exam, listened carefully as I explained the history of my symptoms, and answered all my questions. She took time with me. After ordering a CT scan to further determine the nature of my condition, she called me on a Saturday morning to share the scan results and to describe next steps, even though we had a follow up appointment on Tuesday. Before I ever stepped into the office on Tuesday, her team had contacted me with referral information for a specialist in my condition. I would highly recommend her for her professionalism, her expertise and her compassion.

Very through

The first thing you see prior to entering the practice is a large sign that says "Best of Gwinnett" of many years, the actual years I cannot remember. I have absolutely no idea how that happened unless they paid people to submit their name for that title. I am 72 years old and I have had an annual check-up for all of my adult years. This "examination" was a first. I was not asked to get updressed. Dr. Kulkarni checked my heart, throat, blood pressure and blood was taken. I did get an EKG. None of the problems I came in with were discussed. She spent 90% of her time in front of the computer. There was really no verbal exchange, ever after I told her of my concerns. The staff in the office was warm and very friendly, but I went there for a knowledgeable doctor, not a friend. I would never refer anyone to that practice nor that doctor. I was very disappointed in that I was looking for a new internist as my previous one closed her office. My boyfriend also went to Dr. Kulkani.… He received a call several days after his visit stating that they wanted to discuss his blood work. We went back and while in the examination room a femal came in. Did not introduce herself. I asked if she was a nurse, she said no. I asked if she was a PA her reply no. I then asked if she was a doctor and she said yes. She did not discuss his blood results with him at all. A nurse came in later to do that. The only thing she did was refill a prescription for me. If I did not know better I would have thought this was a joke.
