Dr. Ray Morton Balyeat, MD

Having type-1 diabetes since the age of 3 (and currently in early 50's), I've been to a few doctors. I can easily say that Dr Balyeat is a strong contender for the #1 spot in my book. He's very thorough, knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. His office usually pretty busy. I figure that's a sign of success. I read a comment on here about someone being upset about their wait time. I can't even imagine thinking that way when it comes to your vision. Regardless, I've never had to wait longer at Balyeat's office than at any other dr office. Dr Balyeat is really good at treating with the long-run in mind. He always goes back over my previous visit notes/pics very thoroughly, and includes me in the diagnoses and/or any treatment plan.

The service is always late. The procedure takes about 15 minutes, but have never been in the office less than 2 hours. Just unreasonable!!

The doctor is 5 stars in all categories From the moment you come for your first visit until you walk out the door, you feel like you have been treated by a true professional.

Dr. Balyeat spent a lot of time with me discussing my diagnosis and treatment options. He was very professional and kind. I never felt rushed like I have in other doctors offices.

The most thorough examination I have every received from ANY doctor. Dr. Balyeat's office staff were very kind and helpful.
