Dr. Raymond Dwight Turner, MD

I was supposed to have spinal fusion surgery at L2/L3...at least that’s what I suppose was attempted. However, sadly, Dr. Turner used the wrong size screws (too short) and never realized in a two year follow up that I had never fused and that the screws were loosening because of the inadequate length used (poor judgement.) I had to have the same surgery re-done the correct way 2 years later. Also of note, if you still decide to use him, make sure you give specific instructions not to allow exploration of other areas of the spine as I ended up with permanent nerve damage because of that decision.

There was NO bedside manner--he was no where to be found after ending up in NSICU...the results of his procedure were completely bogus..he lied! Never tried to explain, until he was advised to and even at that, he fabricated the entire hours that he was supposedly in control! The outcome was so far from what he told the family...shock is putting it mildly!

Although it was originally hard to get Dr. Turner to see us the first time, but I have nothing but praise for this man. He stepped in and diagnosed my daughter after all the other Dr's said it was nothing. When we see him, My child is the patient, he talks to her and works with her. I listen and learn. If all Dr's were this thorough and kind life would be so much easier. He is very much worth the wait. I strongly recommend him. THANK YOU DR. TURNER FOR BEING THE BEST AT WHAT YOU DO.
