Dr. Berkowitz gave me a hip replacement that left my left leg 1&1/4” longer than my right. It was professionally measured 3x by 3 different professionals. He laughed and eyeballed it at 3/4”. I now have pain in both hips and knees. This has made it very difficult to battle my COPD.

When I first saw Dr Berkowitz I was very surprised as to how easy it was to speak to him. He sat down and listened to my horrible knee story! He gave me options, not “you need surgery “! His staff was kind and professional as well! I have recommended 2 friends and they were impressed with his bed side manners after surgery. Give this surgeon a try, you won’t be sorry!

Dr B is not only a great doctor he cares deeply about all his people. His bed side manner was superb. When I was with him, he did not make me feel rushed. He answered all my questions. Highly recommend . In a day of so much bad service, he is simply at the top of there list

After 3 1/2 years of knee replacement, I'm still suffering from pain and numbness on the entire knee due to nerve damage after this replacement and manipulation afterward. I just found out from a friend that just last week he replaced the wrong knee on a lady, (guess it could have been much worse for me) ??????

I don't know how anyone could say anything derogatory about Dr. Berkowitz. He is patient, takes time to explain everything & answer any questions. He has a great "bedside manor" which is important in a doctor. I have had both hips & one knee replaced & am having the second one done now. His staff are also pleasant & helpful.

Would NOT recommend! Too many other surgeons in area who are MUCH better.

Dr Berkowitz did a right hip replacement 10 years ago. I was up standing the first night and feel he did an excellent job.
