Dr. Richard Charles Peebles II, MD

Excellent doctor good visit. My only complaint is it’s very hard to schedule an appointment on try talking to someone at the front desk. I have been calling all day just to be transferred to the voicemail. Then when I got someone they put me on hold and never return to the phone.

I have always loved seeing Dr. Peebles and his staff is usually very kind. Today however, I called since I’m experiencing some medical issues and have an ongoing battle trying to get well. I was hoping to see my primary care physician- Dr. Peebles- IF at all possible. The receptionist Monesha was INSANELY rude to me! I started to explain saying “I have an appointment in 2 weeks, I know there is nothing available—“ and she rudely cut me off and said sternly and frankly very witchy (with a different first letter) and said “NO we do NOT have any sooner appointments”....without ever letting me finish. Then I started to quietly and now sheepishly (thanks Monesha) ask about possible cancellations... “Okay well if anything—“ “We DO NOT HAVE A CANCELLATION LIST” I was rudely interrupted and scolded. By the receptionist. At my DOCTORs office. I work in the medical field. I know it’s stressful. I know 9 times out of 10 clients are unnecessarily needy, can be pretty darn rude, and it’s a… frustrating and annoying job. But you are a professional Ms. Monesha and like it or not there is absolutely NO circumstance in which you can treat a client/patient that way. I will be submitting a formal complaint my next visit. I wish I could say or express more how completely inappropriate this woman’s professional demeanor is but I just wanted to put it out there and try to be nice about it. Now on to the Yelp, Google, and Yahoo reviews about Monesha’s lack of professionalism and general human decency!

Dr. Peebles shows consistency with manners and professionalism every time I visit; only had 1 bad experience with the staff--very isolated event which was reported

Prefers not to deal with complicated illnesses by an individual. Will farm you out to other physicians. "Oh, no I can't prescribe medication for diarrhea and nausea" because I don't know the interaction of the medications you take and what I prescribe', you need to go the Emergency Room". Plus, the flippant attitudes of the nurses. Past time for a new Primary Care Physician. Will never recommend Dr. Peebles.

Dr. Peebles and team make me feel important...and better!

I have been a patient of Dr. Peebles for some time now and have received excellent care from him and the staff, my wife is now a patient.

I been going to Dr. for the long a time I would not go to no other doctor.

Dr Peebles' and his office administration are wonderful in all of the above aspects. I compare them with services I received from MCVH-VCU and they rank, in my opinion, 200% higher in these categories. I will remain their patient/client as long as my insurance permits.

My doctor and staff treats me like family and i am very pleased with the care that i receive.
