Dr. Richard Matthew Stewart, MD

If you appreciate any sort of bedside manner, or the basics of medical communication, do not seek out the office of Dr. Richard Stewart. I came in for a CONSULTATION of my narrow angles and was immediately taken to undergo a variety of tests. The technicians would not even in basic terms explain to me the process of the procedures (what I would feel, why I needed eye drops, etc.), let alone the reason for needing the results. At the end of it all, I was told I was there for a laser eye surgery that day. Again I was there for a consultation, a fact that had been repeatedly made clear to the doctor and staff. At any questioning on my part, I was treated with frustration and condescension. I will not be returning to this doctor.

Absolutely excellent in every way for my cataract surgery. I have recommended him to many friends without reservations.

Woman at the desk is in the wrong field. She is condescending and incomprehensibly tough with patients. She blocks any contact with the doctor, even if you have a valid questions and concerns. A complete and utter nightmare.
