Dr. Robert Samuel April, MD

Dr. April is a delightful guy. Helped me rule out a misdiagnosis and misreading of a brain scan that had me visiting other specialists at great financial and emotional cost to me. Was patient and thorough.

I accompanied my mom to her appointment. This man is terrible, she tried to intimidate and treated my mother like she was dumb. He tried forcing my mother to walk without a cane when she clearly told him she couldn’t because she has pain in her foot but he has not interested in hearing anything she had to say. In fact, he said , “this is my office, if you don’t want to do what I say you can leave.”

Did not have a good experience. Was actually pretty terrible.

This doctor is crazy. He is abusive, rushed and worst of all, can't diagnose. When you bring in severe symptoms which clearly need testing, he diagnoses based on OLD films and doesn't want to hear about symptoms you've developed that prompted you to make an appt. Very dismissive and disrespectful of a frightened patient who is in pain.
