Dr. Robert William Elkins, MD

This guys has no regard toward actual patients pain. Came in got attitude really fast with me. I was there for neck and back. Had sensitive skin due to icy hot and heating pad. Told him my back hurt even to the touch. He gets an attitude. Acts like I’m faking, and does me inhumanly wrong on a injury rating!!!!

I was involved in an 18 wheeler accident over a year ago. Now having neck and back issues. Back spasms. Leg goes numb. Workers comp sent me to numerous other dr appointments. Went through 27 physical therapy appointments, nothing resulting but more pain. Two dr’s gave referral for injections, workers comp dr denies this treatment. Send me to this dr Elkins for rating. Supposedly only dr around that does this ratings for the state my company i worked for is in. Dr Elkins was so short with the appointment. Didn’t listen to me about any of my pains. Gives me absolutely no rating. “0”!!!!!! A zero rating. Now workers comp is saying I’m fine, nothing is wrong with me other than my own personal issues. I never had theses issues before my accident. Now they refuse any treatment for me. Went to new dr appointments on my own expense. They tell me. I need injections , x- rays, pain management. Now on my own dime because the way workers compensation has done me. No insurance, very… lil money for living and need all this stilll. Because of my accident. This Dr Elkins has ruined my life. I can’t do work because of this accident. And now because this guy has done this rating I’m in such a situation with life I can’t even start to explain!!!! One day god is going to even the score dr Elkins!!!!!!!! I would not want to be in your shoes on judgement day for the way you have done me and numerous others by what I am finding out!!

Doctors come in all shapes, sizes, but especially... demeanors. It was unexpected to find expectations far exceeded when it came to the actual visit with Dr. Elkins. What is desired is first and foremost, a doctor who is "sharp as a tack". I don't want to see "the wheels turning", I want to know they are turning... quickly and quietly. This is Dr. Elkins. Just don't try to "pull one over" on him! Great old-style doc! I'd go to him anytime with confidence.

Does not pay attention to patient.Does not check the knee. Does not believe patient is in pain. had 2 poor ratings from him. one was thrown out of court the second was so low my w/c agent was shocked. I would not recommend this idiot a anyone!!!
