Dr. Robert E Greenspan, MD

He knows his stuff, but he is always in a rush because he has so many patients.

This specialist was very abrupt and not very helpful during my husbands visit. The visit lasted maybe 5 minutes. Also there was additional information that should have been given to my husband in regard to a class he could take to inform him of the do's and do not's to keep the kidney damage from progressing and that class was not even mentioned to him. I was not even acknowledged as being in the room, and completely ignored although I am the one with a medical background and also the party to keep an eye on my husbands health. I feel perhaps his time has run it's course as a physician and he needs to retire at close to 70 yrs. of age. Lacking physician and very poor attitude.

Ive been seeing him for a few years now and I WILL be seeking the services of another nephrologist. He doesn't listen and if you're lucky enough to get 2 minutes of his time, he will be sure to let you know how little your opinion is worth. Don't make the mistake of letting him know you've actually researched the situation you're asking about because he will not respect it.

Doctor Greenspan took wonderful care of me when I saw him for a serious medical problem. He treated me in a patient and caring manner and explained my problem and what I needed to do to manage it in a way I could understand. I have been under the care of many physicians both here and in Japan in my 90 years, but Doctor Greenspan is the best.

Dr. Greenspan is a great doctor. I am a patient at a davita center and he is awesome, caring and he listens....Anytime I have a problem it is handled quickly which is hard to find.
