Dr. Robert Jungsik Kim, MD

I am so thankful that Dr. Robert Kim (Gynecological Oncologist) comes to Hilo, Hawaii (at the University Health Partners of Hawaii - Women’s Health Specialists, 82 Puuhonu Pl, Suite 205, office), once a month, where I was referred to and seen by him initially and for follow-up visits. He is a very kind, mild and understanding doctor, patiently and carefully assessed my condition and needs, and explained things to myself and my husband (he welcomed my husband being there and asking questions too). He doesn’t display much facial expressions, but he is very pleasant and caring; we are very comfortable with him. (My husband, being comfortable with, and having confidence in Dr. Kim, asked me if Dr. Kim could do his hernia repair surgery - but of course, he needed a General Surgeon instead.). My hysterectomy was done by Dr. Kim by Robot-Assisted Laparoscopically at the Queen’s Medical Center (a great hospital; had great experience there). Post surgery, I couldn’t believe it, but… happy, that I didn’t have much pain. I am so glad I was referred to Dr. Kim with his expertise. He’s a Great Doctor! Diane H

If you are with Dr. Kim, you are in good hands. Dr. Kim is one of the top specialists in this field. He will explain everything with you and do whatever is good for you.

i loved dr. kim, everything about him.he was kind, understanding, and spent a great deal of time to explain things.i am very sorry that he has gone to another hospital beyond my reach or i would change hospitals.
