Dr. Robert Helmer Malstrom, MD

Doctor Malstrom operated on my right knee in 1980. A that time I was in the United States Navy and Oaknoll Naval Hospital was the Naval Area Hospital. Doctor gave me the options I had in that era and my long term prognosis. The only issue I have with is prognosis is that my orthopedic issues have came two decades later. Thank you Doctor Malstrom for the ability to give me two more decades of a quality of life. Thank you again Brent T.

He did both of my knee replacements. Both came out better that I expected. I will continue to recommend Dr Malstrom.

Dr. Malstrom did my son's surgery five years ago. The surgery was very successful, in fact we couldn't be any happier. As far as his personality, he does seem to come off a little hard if you don't know him. If you talk to him and get to know him he is an Ok guy. His skills are above average. Do I trust him, of course I do! I sent my son to him for surgery and I would do it again

I was a patient of this man for a few years, and every minute was filled with incorrect diagnosis, treatment and he is completely lacking in any interpersonal skills. He is cold, removed and does not care about his patients. I have inside knowledge of the hospital that he works in and staff also feel the same way and would not go to him. Patient beware!
