Dr. Robert Gerald Mcrae, MD

Dr. McRae is not a good Doctor. He’s concerned with a quick turn around time without fixing anything. The man didn’t even do an endoscopy on my tonsils. Don’t waste your time with his 5 minute visit with you, or ent and allergy in general.

The doctor is very nice and understanding. He helped me with my problem but the office seems to be focused on maximizing billing. Billed for procedure not done. Told to come back for followup and just told all tests were negative- the visit lasted 3 minutes but charged again for full office visit.

I had seen Dr McRea a few years ago about sleep apnea. He told me my tonsils we seriously enlarged and I needed to have them removed. He also suggested that I have surgery in lieu of the c pap machine. I delayed everything for a few years and went back to Dr McRea a few months ago. He did a 5 minute exam and showed where to go to pay for my visit. During our 5 minute exam he contradicted every he had previously told me. My tonsils are fine and get the C Pap machine instead of the surgery. It was a waste of my time and money. Mass Eye and Ear here I come.

He didn't really want to hear what I had to say! Dr McRae talks down to you as if you don't know what you are talking about and that you don't know your own child. (I have been in the medical field for 16 years. I know my stuff, but because I look younger then what I am, he treated me like a child.) He was also trying to get me out as fast as I got in. I took the time to fill out the 7 pages that they have you fill out during registration, but since I finshed it in the room I expected him to at least review it in the room. He never even took it from me. Never even showed interest in it. He told me that my childs glands where swollen but their is nothing he can do after I told him about her being on 2 antibiotics, prednisone, 2 bottles of dimetapp, 1 and half bottles of robitussin, childens zyrtec, and a nasal spray. (BTW Which this is also all documented by the doctor and he had all the notes and verified with the staff) DR MCRAE DOESNT CARE
