Dr. Robert Randall Slater, MD

This is my second surgery with Dr. Slater - trigger finger & tenosynovitis - excellent results both times & minimal Scarring. He is a pretty serious doc but I got him to smile broadly - when I thanked him for all the studying he did to be a doctor & help people like me!

Excellent surgeon, very organized & efficiently run office

Straight to the point and very proficient surgeon. He recently performed surgery on my wrist and I was able to return to work in 3 days. No pain medications needed and I could not be happier with the results.

A great elbow, wrist and hand specialist

Workers comp sent me here so I had no choice. The look and tone of voice of this guy just screams “I don’t want to help you.” My physical therapist says one thng but he says I can go back to work. Next visit after he asks if I went back to work, which I haven’t then he says “good.” So I haven’t got paid because of you but you agree that I shouldn’t be working? I ask for a prescription he walks away like he doesn’t hear me. I’m sorry for the obligation but your my primary doctor I have am I not allowed to ask you? All my questions he answers like I’m child while looking at me as if I’m ill educated. He never smiles, never shows any compassion. He just loves showing me how annoyed he is at the sight of me. If you want to feel like a insignificant insect by all means please come here.

The staff is courteous and doctor were professional and courteous.

Never again will I go to this doctor. Does not care for his patients and don't question him, might get your head bitten off!!

does not take time with you. felt like i shouldn't ask questions. he is too busy. also, prescription did not address my needs.

NEVER AGAIN!!! I think you have to have a pretty tough skin to see this guy and not get offended. His line of questioning doesn't give you any time to think and he treats you as though your not human. He needs some classes on class and kindness.

I was sent to Dr, Slater by my workmen's comp doctor. After very brief pleasantries, Dr. Slater, after several sighs while reviewing my file, stated," why am I seeing you". Taken back by his abrupt question. I asked if he had received the referral. He told me yes. I explained the issues I was having and handed him the copy of the latest MRI. Dr. Slater disregarded the MRI stating it needed to be reviewed. He gave me a quick x-ray and a cortisone shot and scheduled me for some physical therapy. I felt he could not get rid of me fast enough. After I completed the physical therapy I returned to see Dr.Slater who asked me how it went. I informed him my range of motion with the exercise increased but the pain is the same. Dr. Slater signed off the paper work and gave me a parting greeting and left. I felt I was wasting Dr. Slater time or Workmens Comp does not pay enough for him to be courteous and professional. Side note: His office staff are awesome.
