My wife and I agree that Dr. Sponzo is one of the greatest oncologists in Glens Falls, NY. He bends over backwards to take care of my wife who has breast cancer, If she has a concern when at home, he arranges to have her come in the same day or the next morning. Such a caring man; he even called an oncologist in Boston for a second opinion. All has been great. The person who wrote the poor review must have been drugged out of his/her mind to write such a horrible review. The description of the doctor is totally out of touch, and not the same man that we have been dealing with for 15 years. Everybody that we come into contact that works with Dr. Sponzo including nurses, surgeons, and patients rave about the man.

Wonderful physician; who has done important cancer research, and is familiar with current treatments; kind and compassionate.

Based on our experience with Dr. Sponzo and the experiences and feedback of others in the community it is public knowledge that this Doctor is awful. From a clinical standpoint he has made numerous mistakes. Not only does he lack the compassion a cancer patient needs (as well as their family) he is very much set in his ways (you either fit the treatment mold or there is no hope for you). He is not familiar with current medical treatments that are needed to treat individuals with cancer. Overall, Dr. Sponzo is an extremely closed minded individual that does not even deserve a 1 star review. Like ourselves and many others in the community please seek treatment elsewhere.
