Dr. Roger Husted, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Husted for about nine years and am not able to say enough good things about him! He is a very pleasant person who puts your mind at ease, explains everything about whatever he plans on doing. He is very patient and answers any and all questions you may have. Excellent doctor!

Condescending and arrogant I just wanted to leave Dr,Husted! He sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy and I had to wait three more days for my eye drops I desperately needed!

Wentt to Dr. husted for a chronic condition , he never advised me of what it was, offered no treatment/medication, and eyes felt and still feels terrible. Going to find another for my condition and advise new doctor of the non-treatment he gave to me. I hope it did not get worse even though I feel as if it did. It was just terrible.

Dr Husted is the best doctor i have ever visited .He takes time to listen to your concerns and after my eye surgery he called me to see how i was doing.His office staff made the scheduling of my appointment easy and made all insurance calls and made all the nessesary appointment for my surgery he is the best!!!

He took prompt and good care of me and resolved my initial problem. However I developed additional issues and had his staff immediately set up appointments with other specialists. He continues to be involved in trying to resolve my issues. He is competent and caring, he returns your calls when you have a serious problem.

My mom went to see Dr Husteda few months back when she had a retinal detachment in one eye.She made an appointment with him and he diagnosed her and he sent her to Albany for surgery where she met with a person who was not a doctoran DO and he wanted to perform surgery but acted weird and my Mom did not feel comfortable with him so she went somewhere else to have it treated.Dr Husted acted belligerent and actually got nasty with my MOM who was suffering.We told him we wanted the best but he acted like he did not know then called Dr Kaplan but he said he was going on vacation. He should have let his covering doctor treat her instead but failed to even request that.We later found out that someone else we had met had Dr Husted repair his eye from a detachment and wondered why Husted did not do the same for her.My Mom has lost most of the sight in her eye as a result of his failure to act and sending her off on a 3hour drive to a be treated by a non doctor from a 1star doctor.He acted… nasty and am appalled by his failure and negligence.He never mentioned that he was a surgeon and could perform the procedure in office as he did for someone else.I feel he was negligent and rdue to top it all off.
