Dr. Ronald Earle Howard JR., MD

I have no problem with the doctor. He is very kind and listens, if, and I mean, IF, you can get past his receptionist. She stonewalls you. When you question her, she tells you she is going to report your attitude to the doctor. I can not get a referral for physical therapy, because she says tests are not back. I got them in my portal!

I was there for a visit in November, and at first Lori said I canceled, then she said you haven’t been here since August. I said, no I was just there in November. I have my receipt and I emailed it to them. It Lori’s fault she put it in someone else’s account. She didn’t have to argue with me. Amy isn’t any better. She points, which is rude, and says in that room. As if there’s another door to go into. She keeps pointing until I go in. He needs a fresh office staff. His wife certainly doesn’t need to be working there. Dr Howard is nice. It’s the front office staff he needs to get rid of.

Dr. Howard is very nice so it is unfortunate his staff is unprofessional . As mentioned by many others, his front desk is MEAN . The nurse / assistant told me the wrong directions on the phone, hung up and then argued with me that she didn’t. When I arrived late she belittled me and gave me step by step directions on how to sit in the chair so “I wouldn’t get lost again”. Not sure what happened to her as to why she is so nasty, but she should not be a part of Millennium as they hold higher standards than this even from the assistants

The Dr is excellent. Very caring and very good at listening and giving advice. The staff however is another story. Very surly. Hard to deal with and not accommodating. They seem to want to make it at difficult as possible to make an appointment.

If you prefer a Dr. office that cares and is friendly and welcoming you should go almost anywhere else. Staff is not only not welcoming, they are surly, don't seem to care at all and the wait time is ridiculous. Saw other reviews about the wait time and staff attitude and it is all true. Waited 45 minutes in a too warm stuffy, tight waiting area and both of us (wife and I) got headaches because of that. Dr. is like a robot, not warm or friendly and a man of few words. After visit I asked a few questions by phone and staff said they would ask Dr. No one ever called me back with an answer to my two questions. When they finally called back 3 days later it was to say they couldn't help me. Dr. likes to blame Millennium PG imaging for slow test results but it was actually him not ordering them with a rush as he said he would. When I asked to call them to expedite he and his staff did nothing. I have never had issue with Millennium PG imaging service before him. There seems to be an inner… fight between him and them. If you are serious about your health, and who isn't, don't go there. You can do better.

Found Dr. Howard to be thorough, knowledgeable, understanding and considerate.

I relocated here and was referred by my primary Doctor to Dr. Howard due to back issues and from my first visit and my ongoing care he has been so thorough with every aspect of my care and the Amy and the staff are very helpful great Doctor...

As a Registered Nurse- but now a sales executive I am extremely critical in the evaluation of health professionals especially of Physicians, bedside manner, promptness, cost -quality and outcomes!! I am happy to report that Dr.Howard and Amy-his office manager were the greatest !! They really all did empathize with my pain (severe back pain and sciatica) that really incapacitated me for a good week before I saw him! I couldn't sit and couldn't sleep or find a comfortable position. Sleeping and driving were out of the question! I just had an epidural steroid injection yesterday based on my MRI and on the road to recovery and no surgery! Dr. Howard spent almost an hour with me explaining my MRI results and my options for treatment. He was truly awesome and I recommend anyone who has severe, acute or chronic pain to see him. Amy his office manager will do everything to get you that much needed appointment! Thank You!!

DO NOT GO TO DR. RON HOWARD!!!!! I was a patient of his for 2 years. Every time I went to see Dr. Howard the appointment usually lasted all of 3 minutes during that time he had his head down most of the time barely paying any attention to what I was saying. I believe in this case Dr. Howard is much more concerned about getting his money from each patient rather than actually helping them or listening to anything they have to say. I called Dr. Howards office to get a refill of the medication he prescribed me to take each day for the last 2 years. The secretary was so rude. She informed me that because I missed 2 appointments "which was never true" that he dismissed me as a patient. I asked why no one contacted me to tell me this. They said they sent a letter in the mail. Not only did the letter not arrive but you would think if a doctor cared about his patients he would give them a call at the very least or leave a voice mail so that I could find another doctor. I wasn't even aware that… a doctor could do that. I then told the secretary I was on my way in to the office. The minute I walked into the door I was approached by Dr. Ron Howard. The first words out of his mouth were "We are done". How does a doctor say that to a patient. It sounds more like what an enemy would say than my neurologist. I then pulled out my phone and started video recording Dr. Howard and asked him to please explain again why I was no longer his patient and he got upset because he didn't want anyone seeing how he treats a patient he picked up the phone and said If I didn't leave he would call the cops of me for trespassing. Up until 5 minutes before I showed up at his office I was under the assumption that I was still a patient since no other doctor in my entire life has dismissed me as a patient. Please save yourself the headache and find another Neurologist.

Dr. Howard is an excellent doctor, one you can trust and believe. He is a very compassionate doctor who is truly concerned about what is best for his patients. I have had many doctors in my lifetime but none have the "smarts and concern" of Dr. R. Howard.
