Dr. Ronald Fred Klinger, MD

Dr Klinger should not be seeing patients. He “left” NYU Langone unexpectedly in 2025, and the circumstances are tightly under wraps and seem very suspicious. I was thankful that he left after a bad experience, only finding out that he is now practicing with Catholic Health. This is very concerning to me. Dr Klinger misdiagnosed and severely over-medicated my mother, even after several appointments and meetings where we expressed our concerns with her medications and worsening cognitive symptoms. Thankfully she switched practices and is doing very well now! Please do not see this doctor. I have no idea why Catholic Health would employ him.

Dr. R. Klinger will spend as much time needed to get to the route of your problem. He is very easy to speak with and very interested in helping you out. He cares from the heart. Dr Klinger is extremely nice and thorough. My son felt very comfortable with him.

It takes a while to actually get into Dr Klinger's office, but it's only because he's that dedicated to each and every individual patient. He keeps great notes and records, so there's less repetition of questions or concerns. He'll sit with you for 2 hours if you need him to. He doesn't rush, he's down to earth, he tells it like it is but in a way that doesn't shock people. He's my favorite and most caring doctor- I am very lucky to have him.

Klinger is amazing. I never felt more sane and more inspired to reach great heights! Somehow he got me. I felt understood, determined and new. I never dreamed a psychologist could help me.

I found Dr. Klinger competent and caring when I first saw him about 30 years ago for a post-surgery problem. While I do not like the waiting room time that can be hours, I understand and appreciate that he always takes whatever time I require and never rushes me out. He always returns my calls and his staff is personable and very helpful. He is now my favorite doctor and I would follow him anywhere.

Dr. Klinger is by far the best neurologist I've ever been to. I've seen neurologists before who just write me a prescription and I never go back. Dr. Klinger spends plenty of time with me, getting to know me, my problems, answering any questions, and picking a treatment plan that I agree to. After the first visit he continues to check on progress and tweak dosage amounts every 6 weeks to 2 months. Although there is typically a long wait, it is well worth it for the level care he gives.

There were too many inaccuracies on a narrative report and refused to make corrections. Paid for this report and I am extremely angry. Will be looking for a new dr.

I had a very serious situation . Dr Klinger made sure to speak to me every day until he was sure I was out of the woods. I always feel as I can talk openly so he can diagnose me correctly. He is a very kind and smart man.
