As another physician, I wouldn't send a dog to him. He has had some medicare fraud issues in the past due to his connection with Dr. Fred Steinberg

dr katzen and his assoc are eager to operate on any patient in the hospital.dr katzen has a bad temper and does not allow patieny input' bad diagnosis too.

His diagnosis was right on target. He did order a test due to family history that symptoms could have been related to but felt the test would also confirm his diagnosis. He was very easy to talk to as the onset of my problem was not easily understood by other physicians and he knew immediately what I was saying. Not follow up after my two visits was necessary.

He had a negative attitude and seemed like he didn't want to be bothered. Maybe it's time to retire?

This was a horrible experience. The diagnosis was incorrect. Expensive testing was not necessary. The office staff was disorganized. The time spent with me and bedside manner was inadequate.
