Dr. Ruben Aguilera, MD

I was a patient for several years. He told me I had arthritis in my chest but found out it was wires had to have removed from a previous heart surgery, no arthritis. He also cut my Levothyroxine in half after my TSH in my thyroid doubled. I we t from 75 daily to every other day. My thyroid cancer returned. My TSH was too high I am o. 112 Levothyroxine now but my cancer returned because my TSH was not kept low enough with medication. Not sure he knows what he is doing.

Because his old practice dominates the web, and I lost the info on Phoenician Medical over time, i had some minor trouble communicating about my follow-up.

This doctor knows nothing about medicine, He's rude, cocky has no Empathy for his patients at least in my case. He is pompous. I feel he should go back to school and learn ethics. He treated my child with such disrespect.

I have seen specialists and doctors most of my life because of my complicated medical history and I will say I was pleasantly surprised with Dr. Aguilera. His office staff is top notch too. The office isn't fancy - and he recently joined a group however I did not notice a change in his care - just a bit more paperwork.

I had to change doctors due to insurance change. I feel very blessed to have Dr Aguilera as my primary care doctor now... He is very nice and takes time with you. The wait time is the shortest I have had so far... a wonderful bonus!! I recommend him highly if you are looking for a PC doctor

Considering that I am a 'Snowbird' I am very impressed by how I am always welcomed by the staff & Dr. Aguilera upon my return to the Valley each winter.

Dr. Aguilera has always spent more time with his patients than any other doctor I have seen in 30-plus years, really listens and thinks about what a patient has said before recommending lots of needless tests when one, like a thyroid function test, will do, and thus helps to save patients a lot of money in co-pays. Unlike a lot of other doctors, he knows he's human and that his brain can't store all the information in the universe, so he uses his laptop to access the latest information. He trusts that his patients know what it's like to live in their bodies better than he does. He's really an excellent doctor. I would have no problem recommending him to anyone. His staff is also outstanding, and Nurse Practitioner Tammy Manganelli is excellent as well. This is an exceptional practice with exceptional people.

Dr. Aguilera is the best doctor every seen, skillful and personable. He has a wonderful and very helpful staff. Won't go anywhere else.

Dr. Aguilera, is the best ! He has treated my family for years.. Always takes time to listen and answer any questions we have, he doesn't rush our time with him. The staff is excellent, I love them all!!!! Thank you, Dr. and staff

I love the staff and the doctors. They schedule me in right away and when i need to be seen. They spend time with me in the rooms. I have never waited in the office for very long,and im happy to say they make me feel better when i am sick. So if you need a good Dr, you need to go see Dr. Ruben Aguilera.
