Dr. Ryan Glasser's clinical expertise includes minimally invasive spinal surgery, minimally invasive posterior and lateral lumbar fusion, complex spinal reconstruction, brain and spinal tumors and trigeminal neuralgia. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Dr. Glasser's Post Doctoral training included his residency in neurosurgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. He has served on faculty teaching Kyphoplasty and minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Glasser is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and licensed to practice in the State of Florida. His hospital appointments include Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, Cape Surgery and Doctors Same Day Surgery. Memberships in associations include the American Association of Neurologic Surgeons, The American Medical Association, the Joint Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves, the Congress of …Neurological Surgeons, Florida Medical Society, and Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. Dr Ryan Glasser operated on my spine 3 times in the last 20 years and still the pain persisted. I consulted another spinal surgeon 2 months after his last surgery and he found the pain in my back located beneath those surgeries and fusions by Dr Glasser. Dr Glasser never had an emergency, if you call for an emergency time, the staff says the Dr. only sees patients every 4 to 6 weeks. I cannot recommend this surgeon, get several opinions before consulting this doctor.

Was very upset he did neck surgery on me, still not right .he was on workmanship comp side ,even though I'm still not right!!

Dr. Glasser performed fusion surgery on my lower back. As discussed prior to surgery my back pain is almost completely gone. 40 years of suffering and so much better. Thank you Dr.Glasser

I have had several surgeries done by Dr. Glasser and it is now 6 yrs and still pain free. I am so blessed to have had him and his assistant to care for me.

I was in pain for 3 months the MRI showed I had a herniated disc with a pinched nerve. It’s been 3days after surgery I’m doing very well. The Advanced surgery center was awsome as well. Thank you doctor Glasser you are the best.

He is our Angel. My husband was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia two years ago. It was a horrible two years. Dr. Glasser took us on and did brain surgery on my husband. With in a month he was fine. No more pain. I can’t thank him enough for giving us our lives back.

I had been seen by Dr Glasses for cervical spine issue. He recommended I have the disc replaced. Had the surgery, have been ok since. Great guy, great tech.
