Dr. Ryan Matthew Martin, MD

Dr. Ryan Martin is a neurologist who earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He completed his residency training at the University of Texas Health System, building expertise in caring for patients with complex neurological conditions. With 16 years of experience in neurology, Dr. Martin has developed specialized knowledge in treating brain injuries and stroke-related conditions. He speaks both English and Korean, allowing him to serve diverse patient populations in their preferred language.

Dr. Martin practices at multiple locations throughout Sacramento, California, including the University of California Davis Medical Center, Sacramento Mental Health Treatment Center, and Sacramento Behavioral Healthcare Hospital. His clinical focus includes caring for patients who have experienced traumatic brain injuries, closed head injuries, and strokes. He performs specialized procedures such as transcranial Doppler ultrasound to assess blood flow in the brain …and neuropsychological testing to evaluate cognitive function. Dr. Martin also utilizes therapeutic hypothermia, an advanced treatment technique for certain neurological emergencies.
