Dr. Saad Abul Khairi, MD

Cannot say enough great things about Dr. Khairi and his PA's - Mark and Kristen. Had surgery for the T-11 and T12 and the bulging disc pressing against the spinal cord. My husband and I were very impressed with Dr. Khairi on the time he spent with us, explained the procedure, that my case was taken to the review board for other 2nd opinions for the best way to approach my issue. So thankful and appreciative of his time, care, explanation and patience in guiding me thru the process. EXCEPTIONAL!!!!

My spine was an absolute mess. Dr. Khairi 1st performed a fusion laminectomy from C2-T2. During recovery I fell at home hitting my spine on the bath faucet. I was paralyzed from the chest down, until Dr. Khairi performed another surgery doing another fusion laminectomy from T8-T12 and reversing my paralysis. Dr. Khairi is the most professional and compassionate physician I have ever dealt with. He took all the time needed to make sure my wife and I were well informed, even going to the waiting room to bring my wife to the room before discussing my care. I would recommend him to anyone!!!

Could not ask for a more attentive and accurate physician. More then 5 stars!

I want to praise Dr Khairi for his expertise and information that centered on my health and how I need to get the surgery ASAP. My arthritis was touching against my spinal column and bruising the areas it was touching,. During my first visit he felt it was such an emergency that he cancelled out less serious cases and got my scheduled surgery as soon as possible. Thanks to him and his team I did not end up in a wheelchair.

I can not say enough amazing things about Dr. Khairi! He has outstanding bedside manner, is confident, funny, listens, and works with you! Dr. Khairi did my back surgery and gave me a new life. After lots of NERVES over 3 months of waiting I had my surgery. 10 broken bones, 2 rods and 20 screws later, I am 6 months post op and off all pain meds! I would trust Dr. Khairi with my children and husband and myself in a heart beat. He treats you as he would treat his own family.

Dr. Khairi was incredibly rude, short, and lacks bedside manner. We were contemplating the decision to discontinue my uncle's life support, and Dr. Khairi made us feel like we were completely wasting his time with our questions. When I asked him if I could observe him performing neuro checks on my uncle, Dr. Khairi stated that he already did them and had no intention of doing them again because he had "two very important surgeries today". I am an RN, and I was shocked by his lack of professionalism and compassion. His interns were noticeably very embarrassed by his actions. I have since filed a complaint with Patient Advocacy at Methodist Hospital.
