Dr. Samantha B Benson, MD

Dr. Benson isn't just a doctor—she's a lifesaver. For nearly two decades, she's been my guiding light, even after I moved across the country. I still make the journey back to see her because she's that invaluable. She's not the kind of doctor who simply prescribes pills. She empowers her patients to take control of their health through lifestyle changes. She's taught me the importance of exercise, nutrition, and proactive healthcare. Of course, she'll prescribe medication when necessary, but she believes in minimizing reliance on them. Dr. Benson truly cares about her patients living healthy, fulfilling lives. Her passion for wellness is evident in every interaction. I can't express how grateful I am for her dedication and expertise. The world needs more doctors like her—she's a true gem in the medical field.

Dr. Benson is not your "Doctor". She is invested and cares about you individually. She takes the time to listen about what you need to talk about. She is the best around....hands down!

See my full Google review. Basically, I never could get in to see her. Always tried to push a PA on me which I refuse to see. When I insisted on her I was told 3-4 month to see her. When I called for a wellness exam recently, I was told no new patients. I said I wasn't and was told as I had not been in for awhile I was. I told them that was their fault but it fell on deaf ears.

Dr. Benson and her staff are amazing. I’ve been a patient here for 6 years and Dr. Benson can figure out what most doctors can’t. I had to hold myself back from hugging her today because she understood what was wrong with me, let me know the steps, and the back up plans. This is by far not the first time she has done this for me. Even if she didn’t know the answer (which has yet to happen) she will find a specialist that does. I’m so blessed to be one of her patients!

Dr Benson is a truly great Doctor. Knows her stuff and has fantastic people skills. I broke my hand and got in to see her on emergency standby (thank you Allison - you rock!) since my regular caregiver was not in. Dr Benson took wonderful care of me.

Dr Benson is thorough and efficient. She is also kind and caring. I highly recommend her.

Dr Benson is the absolute best doctor I have ever had. She's compassionate and extremely knowledgeable! She stays abreast of reports from specialists so that she's aware of your current status. She listens to patient concerns and addresses them with understandable explanations. She's definitely a 5 star doctor!

I really like Dr. Benson. I think she is well-qualified. I also like her bedside manner. To be honest, sometimes the wait isn't long and the staff is very courteous. Other times, it's a long wait (to be fair, maybe there had been an emergency) and her assistant can be curt (I think it is when she is rushed and stressed.) There is one person in the office that has always been unfriendly and almost rude to me and that is the woman who draws blood. Overall, because I like Dr. Benson so much, I'll continue to be her patient.

I have never had a better physician overseeing my care. Fortunately, I have few medical issues, but Dr. Benson is an excellent physician when I do. She spends time with you and is thoughtful in all her care decisions. That's because she listens! Yes, the wait time can be a bit long and it takes time to get an appointment. But I find she is worth the wait. I also like having the ability to logon to their portal to check lab results, request RX renewals, or ask a question not worth an appointment. I would be hard pressed to make a move away from Atlanta because I am unsure I'll find another physician that comes even close to her level of excellence.

I love Dr. Benson. She is thorough, personable, and very current. Her staff is unfailingly courteous.
