Dr. Samatha Tipirneni

This was my first experience with a Spine doc. I watched my late hubby go through back issues with 2 different docs in the same office. One was fantastic, the other was terrible. This Dr Samantha was kind, caring, listened, explained. She made me very comfortable with her and her plan. I have problems with both C spine, and lumbar, she is checking both, no second visit. She is excellent thus far

I unfortunately had a disappointing experience with Dr. Tipirnneni. She spent minimal time with me during appointments & she did not seem to genuinely listen to my concerns or acknowledge the severity of my pain, as though I was making it up. She often appeared rushed during our few appointments. Despite undergoing two rounds of transverse epidural injections that did not offer any relief, I was never given a clear diagnosis regarding my back issues just very vague answers & told she could offer no help. Her final recommendation was for me to contact my primary care doctor, leaving me without a concrete plan or understanding of my condition, and most of all discouraged.

She showed up over a half hour late to the first appointment of the day, did not listen at all, talked over me, had not looked at my file at all, didn't even look at the MRI, contradicted what ever other doctor said, and called me a liar, claiming that my injury was preexisting before the accident. This was easily the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor.

Did not listen, talked over me. Very annoying

Had to repeat myself several times because she was not listening to what I had to say. When I asked about another pain that I felt was related-I was abruptly told I would have to schedule another appointment for that.
