Great service

This visit was for my mother, and it felt rushed and lacked proper explanation. The doctor gave the diagnosis and stated that there was nothing they could do, and she would see her in 4-6 months. I understand that there might not be any treatment available, but the doctor needs to be more empathetic and professional. When I asked the front desk for the name of my mother’s diagnosis (I had asked the doctor to write it on a post-it note, but she didn’t), they kindly provided me with a copy of the doctor’s notes. However, I noticed that the doctor’s recommendation to the patient was completely different from what she had told us! This was unprofessional.

Needs better customers service.

I asked the questions and she filled me in of the concerns that I needed to know I love her professionalism. I will always like to go back to see her.

I had an excellent experience with my retina specialist. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and efficient. The doctor took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made me feel completely at ease. Their expertise and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire visit. I felt confident in the care I received, and I truly appreciate the professionalism and compassion shown. Highly recommend to anyone seeking exceptional retinal care.

No stars! Four years ago I was referred to Dr. Khan for a pending eye issue. Dr. Khan was outright rude and had the worst patient relation manner. Her exam was the most painful I've had and I've had many exams. She misdiagnosed me and scheduled me for surgery I didn't need without asking. Luckily, I was able to get a proper diagnosis after this horrific visit and didn't follow her misdiagnosis. I now have a physician team that is on point.

Because I am on public health insurance coverage I don't have the option to select my eye doctor. This physician was assigned to examine my retinas for posterior retinal vitreous detachment in 2018, and then again this year, 2020, and it was EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL. In 2018, a senior or attending ophthalmologist also examined my retinas afterwards, and there was no pain whatsoever from their method. I've read the other reviews written by other patients for this physician. The mixed reviews suggests that she may have personal issues that cause her to treat certain patients preferentially, or she may be prejudiced against certain individuals (because of their race, gender, sexual orientation, or social class) whereby she subconsciously "punishes" her patients because of who they are.
