Dr. Samuel Edward Dakil, MD

He may be a good surgeon (at least that's what we were told...not even sure I agree with that), but everything else including bedside manner, follow up, follow through, concern/empathy, and patient history/chart knowledge is abysmal. If you have a choice... I would suggest looking elsewhere for urology care. Gone are the days when you can treat patients with a complete lack of care and keep them as patients. He is not helping Oklahoma get off the bottom of the list for medical care.

Dr. Daily took care of me when they found bladder cancer. He reassures me that if I put my trust in his experience that he would take care of me. He did exactly what he said he would do. He is direct and matter of fact. But he also took time to make sure I was comfortable in understanding my diagnoses and the steps I needed to take to be healthy. I highly respect him and his staff. Everyone I have dealt with has been wonderful.

My husband saw this doctor because we was informed he had a tumor on his kidney to renal cell carcinoma. He really didn’t give us much information about after the removal of the the kidney. When my husband had the surgery he never called me with an update. My husband never saw him after surgery or the following day when he was discharged. We saw him at the 11 day post op appointment. I think he spent a whole 2 minutes in the room to tell us yes it was renal cell carcinoma. I asked questions after the pain and energy levels he acted like we was full of it. We asked for pain meds because he has been in lost of pain since surgery. He refused because my husband was fatigued. Like what the heck he just had a whole kidney removed. He was more worried about my husband’s weight then how he was feeling after surgery. He didn’t even Inspect the incisions abs staples that he did until we said something. I am to the point of wanting to file a formal complaint asked this doctor. He is so… unprofessional and disgraceful.

I was greeted with a dirty office with empty coffee cups all over the floor, a bathroom COATED in urine, a waiting room with dried blood on the floor and water damaged ceiling. On top of all this Dr. Dakil is a real jerk when it comes to bedside manner, he didn't even wash his hand or wear gloves during my physical examination. I felt like he was impatient and more interested in talking into his microphone than actually listening to my problem. I'm going to be seeking a second opinion elsewhere.

Very hateful, ugly, rude, obnoxious attitude. Wait time was 3 hours..had to stand out in hallway. Appointment ran several hours behind time. Nurse came in, cathed me and spoke so fast she sounded like an auctioneer. Worst experience ever with any medical facilty and doctor.

Made me feel very comfortable with my vasectomy. Professional, funny, (which you need) and a complete painless as it can get procedure. An A+ experience. I recommend this Dr. to every man seeking this procedure. Thank you Doctor!

Dr. Dakil gave me a reliable well assessed diagnosis which did not serve to pad his billing. I appreciate his candor, honesty and pleasant advice!

This Doctor thinks he is better than anyone else! He is rude, uncaring and if you have the audacity to ask a question, you get screamed at! He should be in a business where he doesn't have to deal with people cause he thinks he is too good to do that!

I had laser surgery July on my prostate. For 3 months i went back Telling them i couldnt urinate. So i seen his PA they showed me how to self catherize . I was telling them i thought it was scar tissue and was told it wasnt it was my sphincter. So i decided to get a second opinion at OU Medical. I seen Dr Slobodov very nice and caring Dr. It took him less than a minute to find my problem. He said you was right it is scar tissue!!! I had surgery last week and everything is fine now!!!! Norman Urology would of followed up after the surgery they would of found the scar tissue!!!!!!
