Dr. Kedhar knows how to treat patients and is an excellent doctor. However, you typically spend about 30-45 minutes waiting on a 5 minute exam, only for him to tell you it seems like you are improving and to keep up the treatment plan. After the 5 minute office visit, you will get charged twice. On Anthem BC isurance, this typically comes out to $150 for the "hospital fee" and $350 for the "provider visit". It seems like for 2 office visits you will get probably 6 bills. Everything comes separately and it will feel like you're getting scammed.

I initially wanted laser to improve my reading vision. Since I am 61 years old, Dr Sanjay Kedhar recommended cataract surgery but with an improved lens that allows for near vision. However, my near vision improved very little; I still need reading glasses at all times including using the iPhone which is very important to me. I inquired if laser would help, but Dr. Kedhar only wanted to do cataract on the other eye. I do not want to do cataract surgery on my other eye. Also, to get any appointment with the doctor, I have to pay out-of-pocket close to $300 each time, even though I have a good insurance. Now I am stuck. I need laser on the operated eye which will cost me another $2,000.
