Dr. Sarah Kathryn Hwang, MD

I made a ten hour round trip to see this "doctor" who was highly recommended. I suffered from excruciating pelvic prolapses which were extensively documented by two other professionals. the office told me she had reviewed my records; when I got there she barely looked at me and said she didn't see anything abnormal. Later I got a letter telling me that she was retiring - I thought she only looked 40-ish; based on this letter and on her poor performance, I believe this woman was seriously ill and had no business trying to practice medicine.

Dr Hwang was highly recommended to me by a physical therapist, who sent me in after a 1-1/2 hour interview and a 2 hour physical assessment. On her 4-page report, the PT mentioned seeing a 2/4 prolapse of the bladder and a 3/4 prolapse of the uterus. I had recently been operated for a 4/4 rectal prolapse, and the surgeon told me these other organs were also impaired, and I was having constant severe pain. Dr. Hwang barely looked at the report or at me, said "I don't see anything abnormal" and decided my problem must be neurological. Sarah Hwang is an absolute expert on the pelvis and works closely with physical therapists to treat pelvic pain that has a musculo-skeletal cause. She is kind and really listens.
