Three minute visit at the most, never asked me to sit on the exam table, next actually even touched me if you don’t count the fact I shook his hand, never looked up from his laptop to even look at me, never looked at the questionnaire I was asked to fill out to even notice I hadn’t had a flu shot and was due for a mammogram....concluded with “I will call in a prescription and the nurse will check you out” and with that.... out the door he went without a “goodbye”, “feel better”, “call back if you get worse”, to which I did get a whole lot worse but sure wasn’t going to call HIM, that’s for certain! Wow....the lack of bedside manner and concern would be sad....if it weren’t so scary.

Terrible bedside manner, Makes everything difficult, terrible attitude and should not be a doctor. Had been with my doctor for years before he switched networks and I was forced to see this doctor in place. I've been on the same medications for 8 years... This doctor comes along and makes it difficult and hounds me for needing these mild prescriptions I've already known for all this time! He's not worth the trouble. I tried to stick it out, but no more!

On time, personalized, asked good questions, gave sincere opinon and was not distracted.

The nurses were great -the doctor was horrible. Had strep throat 10+ times and it took someone yelling at him to send me to a specialist to have my tonsils out, no strep throat since. Have had irregular periods since starting them and No One asked the last time I had one. Though not having them regularly can cause many conditions.

Dr. Patel is dedicated to his patients. He is a very intelligent, caring and gifted doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Patel for over 4 years. I began seeing him when I was 16 and got strep throat, monthly, for over a year until my mother found a doctor to remove my tonsils without his recommendation. Now, Monday, I made an appointment for Wednesday at 10:30. The nurse did not put my appointment in the computer and they were over booked, so I had to reschedule for the following morning at 8 A.M. I was 10 minutes early for my appointment and was not seen until 8:55! I was the first appointment of the day and the doctor was late. I received no apologies for having to wait so long. I will be changing doctors right away.

DO NOT go to this doctor. I have no idea how he received his medical degree. Thank goodness I always research medications before I take them or give them to my kids. He increased my son's adderall from 25mg to 50mg in one visit and when I looked it up, found out that anything over 40mg for a child can be fatal. Then I was concerned about how skinny my son was getting. He was skinny to begin with and he was getting so skinny that his cheecks looked sunken in and his arms were starting to look like something out of a commercial for starving children in a third world country. I assumed he would prescribe him something to help him gain weight or give me some ideas for some type of foods that I should start adding to his diet that would increase his weight. All he said was that I shouldn't worry and that it would "level out". Again I did my research and found that the adderall is an appetite suppressant so needless to say he is not going to be taking this medication at all anymore. … This doctor needs to stop practicing before he hurts someone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Patel for two years now. I like that he is thourough and i have not really had an issue with the amount of time i have had to wait for an appointment or to be seen, but my biggest complaint would have to be that i was diagnosed with post partum depression and put on antidepressants. It took 5 tries for us to find something that even remotely would work for me. He also failed to mention that the new antidepressant would turn me into a zombie all day long. They also had me do a fasting blood test 3 separate times in a year. I think that it's kind of crazy.

Not only is it hard to become a new patient (waited two months to get in), but his office hours on the door do NOT match his actual hours. It also takes days to get results back from tests and X-Rays... which I only get when something is wrong and I'm looking for answers (so waiting days is NOT acceptable). He is very friendly, but doesn't seem to want to take the time with patients. If I didn't have to pay the $100 plus office visit fee to become a new patient else where, I would leave. His office staff also did not inform myself or my husband of the after-hours fee... which our insurance promptly declined so we had to pay.

After Massaro left this practice has gone so far down hill it's not funny. Takes 30 days to get an appointment. I spend more money at the afterhours clinic because this guy can't see me for over 30 days. my wait time is 50 minutes but if I'm 5 minutes late I get rescheduled and it's another month. plus this guy is getting sued for malpractice.
