My distance vision had become significantly blurred. Dr. Rana diagnosed cataracts in both of my eyes. After he removed the cataracts in my right eye, and replaced the lens! I am one week out with 20/20 vision. I can clearly see individual leaves on the trees. I am eagerly awaiting for the same results with my left eye next week. I've been a patient of Dr. Rana's for around 3 years. I am very pleased with his professionalism, expertise, and "bedside manner!" Dr Rana completed my cataract surgery on both eyes. The experience: from identifying the need for cataract surgery to my final check-up went flawlessly. First, Dr Rana is patient oriented. He explains process steps and procedures at an understandable level, he is responsive to questions and provided guidance throughout the process. Dr. Rana is bright, personable, caring and compassionate. He listens and talks to you and not at you. He is willing to answer any questions you have and is focused on you as the patient rather than whoever is waiting in the next room. He is very approachable and encourages you to call if you have problems between visits. His team travels with him so you get the same people every visit no matter which location you are at. They represent his philosophy of medicine well which provides continuity. I am grateful to be under his care!

Dr. Rana, Oh my! Not sure how to express the gratitude I feel for him and his wonderful Staff in office and in surgery. Dr. Rana has no Idea how much life he has given me. I have had four aneurisms and a stroke that cost me my left eye vision. I had been using glasses since the age of 6 and now at 64 was losing the only vision I had of my right eye, no longer able to drive and looking at what my life would be like. I felt that I had reached the end of my independence. I was so sad that for a few months I was so depressed. Then God put Dr Rana in my path, since the first day I felt hope and excitement of what could be in the future. My instinct said go for it! Do IT! And I did. Everything Dr. Rana spoke to me about and the expectation of surgery did not even come close to the result of my now 20/20 right eye vision and the exceptional peripheral vision of my left eye. Dr Rana, every day you will be in my prayers, I will thank God for placing you in this earth, and allowing you to… become who you are, a professional of empathetic nature, dedicated to your patients.
