I am a physician anesthesiologist. Fifteen years ago, I had a syringomyelia (a ballooning of the spinal canal due to an obstruction of the spinal fluid flow) which progressed to the point where there were only two muscles in my body, one in my right lower leg & one in my right face, which were unaffected. I was also starting to lose bowel and bladder function. At the time of surgery, I was within weeks of becoming a quadraplegic. I underwent an 11 hour thoracic spinal fusion, followed 2 weeks later by a syingomeylia correction using cadaveric tissue. I WALKED out of Craig Hospital under my power 8 days later, and I have had ZERO complications. When my symptoms initially presented, my orthopedic back surgeon friend had me Tee'd up for surgery in 15 minutes, but backed away when he saw the MRI. Another neurosurgeon in town referred me Dr. Falci, who took nearly an hour to do his history and physical-he leaves no stone unturned, and this is one of the many reasons he has such… remarkable surgical success on the very complicated surgeries he performs. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Falci, and I am forever in his debt: he and the good Lord delivered me from a horrible fate. At that time, they were the only surgeons in the world who did this surgical correction. I feel so blessed to have had Dr. Falci's gifted hands and the good Lord to heal me. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Falci and his staff: there is no finer neurosurgeon known to me, and I am forever in his debt. Doctor Falci did back surgery on approximately 20 years ago. I’m still doing well. I so appreciated his knowledge and his professionalism along with his caring attitude. I still remember the respect the nurses at Swedish Hospital had for him!

I felt Dr. Falci was competent and at the top of his game.

Dr. Falci, while a Neurosurgery Resident in 1988, performed an emergency ventriculostomy on my three year old son, saving his life the very first night of the month long hospitalization. He is a dedicated and caring Doctor.
