Dr. Scott Alan Nadenik, DO

Don't care for his Bedside manner, acts like he is doing you a favor ...Office staff is not friendly... Hard to get a follow up appt if you should be having additional needs addressed .. ...

I have dealt with sinus issues my whole life. I had the Balloon Sinuplasty & reduced turminates- it's almost been a year now (was done in May of 2020). Breathing is awesome now - no more waking up with one side stuffed. I no longer need any medication or nasal sprays. His team is super - the surgery smooth - and I had no pain during or after. This has exeeding my expectations. It was so comfortable -(I was laying down) - they put on my favorite music. I appreciate and highly recommend Dr. Nadenik and his team of professionals if you have any issues with sinuses. Everyone was very caring. I can't thank you enough.

I am writing to you to express my dismay, bewilderment, anger and frustration regarding Dr. Scott Nadenik. In my opinion, he is not a doctor at all, so from now on he will referred to as Scott. He deserves no title. Scott and I met after I had extensive medical testing regarding a large goiter on my thyroid and some troubling symptoms that go along with the diagnosis. My primary care doctor,(Dr. Rose Emery Absolute Health) who had made the referral, had sent in all of my bloodwork, thyroid ultrasound, CT Scan and chest x-ray. She referred me because all of those tests came back with troubling results. When I entered the room with Scott the Nudnik, he had no information about my referral. He said he had no bloodwork or scans. All he had to do was go out of the room and ask one his nurses to retrieve the information. Instead....he just told me he did not have any information, and that if I was upset about being fat because of a low thyroid, I could take some iodine. I… realize he is a surgeon, and because of that should not be dispensing medical advice like iodine when he does not know the whole situation. He made that remark based on no bloodwork, no review of scans or x-rays. I then relayed some of the information I had been previously told by my primary care doctor who had done the initial diagnostic tests. He accused me of lying about my lab values and told me I had no idea about anything regarding my labs. He dismissed me as a hypochondriac who was making up lab results. (Later I find out from the office manager, when I complain to her, that he had written in his notes that he had done a thorough examination and had discussed my CT scan and its relevance. He did none of those things.) So on top of everything, he is guilty of writing fraudulent notes about our encounter. I emphatically state that the notes he wrote in my file are not what transpired and are fraudulent. I made the office manager of Ocala ENT (Ocala ENT ext 230), where he works, aware of his misrepresentation of our doctor/patient encounter. The story does not end here. At the end of our appointment where he basically called me a hypochondriac liar, he escorted me to the counter in the front office and advised the receptionist to reschedule me for a month from then. Why???? He had nothing to say, no plan of care, and had dismissed all of my complaints as fiction even though I have CT scans, ultrasounds, bloodwork and a chest xray that said otherwise. All he had to do was leave the room for a few minutes and ask a nurse to pull up my lab results that had been sent by my primary care physician (Dr. Rose Emery). If he indeed did not have it, it would have been a small matter of calling the office of Dr. Emery and asking her to resend. After my horrific experience with Scott Nudnik, I called her and asked her why Scott had none of my results and had dismissed me as a fat hypochondriac. She could not believe what had transpired. She has proof in her office that those records were sent. You can call the office at Absolute Health in Ocala Florida and talk to Dr. Emery or her nurse Ronnie and they will verify the pain and suffering I experienced at the hands of the incompetent Nudnik. They spent a lot of time on the phone with me to find another doctor who would treat my symptoms with the seriousness they required. Scott said he had made a referral to an endocrinologist, but I never received a call from an endo for an appointment. Nudnik had no care in the world about my follow up care. I never got a call from his endo, and had to find my own. Turns out I have CANCER!!! Scott "Nudnik" delayed my care, dismissed me, and clearly violated the standard of care expected from a physician. He is no physician, doctor, DO, whatever you want to call him. He is not qualified to work at 7-Eleven as far as I am concerned. The fact that you count him as part of your organization should be taken under serious consideration. Times are changing and there is no place for his kind of conduct in the medical field. I hope you will do something about this. I am sure this happens regularly with him and the good ole boys like him. It is time for you to take action against him

Dr. Nadenik was recommended to me by a co-worker after I had repeated bouts with sinus infections and what I thought were allergies. He immediately ordered allergy testing and a CT scan after a thorough physical examination of my ears, nose and throat. After determining that my issues were caused by the internal bone structure of my nose and sinuses, along with "old" sinus scar tissue, surgery was scheduled. The office staff was able to provide accurate insurance co-payment figures and pre-surgery approvals. My follow-up care with the doctor was timely and thorough. The only suggestion I could make would be to have an office nurse contact the patient by phone a day or two after the surgery as a courtesy. After three months post-surgery, I have never felt better. Dr. Nadenik was right when he shared with me that my quality of life would improve by being able to breathe normally and not have sinus headaches, drainage and infections. I appreciate everything that he did and wish I had… contacted him years ago.

The Dr. knew and cured my problem immediately; that said, I guess that he maybe was having a bad day as he was quite almost hostile to me. But I forgive him ??

I was very pleased with Dr Nadenik and the care he provided was excellent. I had three followup appointments which was greatly appreciated. I would recommend Dr. Nadenik to anyone who required this procedure.

After several visits Dr. Nadenik recommended I have a sinus balloon and turbinate reduction procedure. Dr. Nadenik and his staff were very caring before, during, and after the procedure. There was no pain, no anesthesia, just local blocking and a relaxant. He continued to monitor me for several weeks to be sure everything healed properly. Dr. Nadenik is a very diligent doctor whom I highly recommend.

I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. Nadenik. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care about his patients I had a hard time breathing and after the surgery I can breath again. Dr Nadenik is very personable and is a great surgeon.
