Dr. Scott William Tunis, MD

You can tell a lot about an office by simply calling them and asking questions. I called several local offices and Dr. Tunis' office was by far the friendliest and took the time to explain my options and an overview of the process. I scheduled my consultation and I met with Ms. Carol (who was excellent). She conducted several tests and explained each test in detail. They were very forth coming with the process and the cost. I then had a consultation with Dr. Tunis who did a further examination of my eyes to ensure I was a good candidate for Lasik. On the day of my surgery the entire office staff answered all of my questions and made sure I was comfortable. During the surgery, Dr. Tunis explained exactly what I would see and how it would feel. The surgery did not hurt and the only sensation I experienced was slight pressure on my eyes. The entire surgery took less than 5 minutes. I attended my follow up visit today and my vision is on the way to being 20/15 which is extraordinary. I… would highly suggest this office and Dr. Tunis to anyone considering Lasik. He is very knowledgeable and has excellent bed-side manners. Keep in mind that not everyone is a good candidate for Lasik and this office conducts several tests to ensure the safety of the patient and to make sure you have the best outcome possible. Overall my experience was wonderful and I am so glad I made the choice to have Lasik with this office.

Dr Tunis is an amazing Dr in every way. I had 2 cataract surgeries with accompanying lasik adjustments. Dr. Tunis made sure my eyesight was as close to perfect as he could get it. He and his entire staff are caring professionals. Dr. Tunis deserves the highest available rating - he is truly the best!

Dr. Tunis was wonderful. My wait time was minimal and he has a great personality. He seemed very knowledgeable and experienced and I felt very comfortable with him. His staff is friendly and always smiling. I highly recommend Dr. Tunis to anyone needing and ophthalmologist in the area.

I have heard so many friends and co-workers speak very highly of Dr. Tunis, and everything they said was true. Dr. Tunis is very knowledgeable, has a great "bedside" manner, and has always been very respectful of my time. I wait very little when I arrive for an appointment and have been very impressed with the friendliness and knowledge of his staff as well. I would recommend Dr. Tunis for anyone needing eye surgery!!
