As a senior patient, I especially felt unheard and dismissed. Objective MRI findings and the reason for my appointment were not discussed. I had to ask specific questions to obtain any information, and the answers I received felt hedged and inconsistent with imaging results. I’ve had very specific, ongoing symptoms since an MVA, including a documented tear and a large cyst, yet these were not addressed during the evaluation. When I asked about these findings, the responses did not align with the imaging or my symptom pattern. Treatment offered was a repeat of conservative measures that had failed for the past 2.5 years. Patients with accident-related injuries or persistent symptoms should be aware that this visit did not provide meaningful engagement with imaging or trauma-related findings. When I asked about the MRI results, including the likely tear identified by the radiologist, no findings were reviewed; I was told only that the nearly 6 cm cyst would refill if drained because… of a “capsular problem,” with no explanation or relevance. On questioning, a palpable cyst was acknowledged as a likely source of pain, yet it was not documented in the visit summary. MRI findings are also absent from the summary. I had to read the post-visit summary to learn what diagnosis had been assigned, as it was not explained during the appointment. I was simply told ‘it could be this, or it could be that’, but nothing that pointed to any objective findings. Arthritis becomes difficult to justify when symptoms occur only with sustained walking.

If this is doctor Martinez from Clermont Fl. I would not recommend him to anyone. Because of him i have to have a third surgery on my wrist. He is the worst
