Dr. Shaiba Z. Ansari-Ali, MD

I started seeing her when I was diagnosed with RA. I really liked her at 1st, but that didn't last long at all! She never wanted to try and work with my meds, she kept me on the same ones when they weren't doing anything for me. And her answer was always just to up my prednisone. Anyway, I ended up finding a new rheumatologist who was blown away but things she had done and said to me. Needless to say, he switched some meds around and within just a couple months I am in such better shape than I had been seeing her for a year and a half. Everyone else in that office was wonderful, I just wish I could say the same for her.

Whether you are on the phone or in person everyone is so kind and easy to talk to. The Dr. she is the best, I really like how she explains things to me, I just have to remember what she says, next time I wish I could record her knowledge of my Arthritis and medication details.

i have gone to dr ansari for about three years, she is very caring and seems genuinely concerned with my welfare. she is thorough, does labs on a regular basis and always refills prescription in a very timely manner. I would recommend her highly. I am a retired nurse and feel that her care and concern is genuine and she is very well versed in her field. I might add that I can be quite critical at times. Shes the greatest. I have recommended other members of my family to her.

My mother was having some problems so, I took her to Dr. Ansari-Ali. We had no problem getting an appointment, when we got to the office we had a very short wait. My mother was in a wheel chair and every courtesy was shown her. Dr. Ansari-Ali was very caring and took extra time to be sure mom understood everything. We even received a phone call later that evening to be sure everything was ok. I was very impressed and mom really liked Dr.Shaiba, (as she called her).

I took my mother to Dr Ansari-Ali for severe back pain when her primary care dr. couldn't find what was causing it. She was patient and caring, took time to listen to the symptoms and after examining her made some suggestions to help with the pain. She then followed up the next day (which was Christmas Eve) to see how she was doing. Dr. Ansari-Ali was the only one persistant enough to eventually find the cause of my mothers pain. So in my book she gets top scores in everything.

I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. i have been dealing with immune system problems for years since i was about 4 yrs old. I went to her office with a detail history of all the immune system problems i have had over the years. She wouldnt read it and she didnt even give me an exam in any. No vitals taken and physical exam. She spoke maybe 10 words to me let the room. she was extremely curt and completely ignored everyrhing i said. I call out cause she never came back after 20 mins or so the nurse/receptionist not sure which she was told me the doctor was finished. The nurse said i could get my script on check out. She had a script for gabapentin waiting for me at the desk and i had no idea why i was suppose to take it. the only reason i went to the office was because my doctor told me i needed a specialist to recommend an MRI for my shoulder that is in constant pain to get my insurance to cover it. I would never recommend this woman as a physican to anyone. i just cant… express how unfeeling and rude this woman was to me.
