She is amazing clinical who cares about her patients. Very knowledgeable and upto date with late else research.

Dr. Chitnis is simply a fantastic movement disorders doc. She is somwhat difficult to get in with, and takes alot of care and time with her patients, and thus is often behind schedule. But that's justbecause she is sooooo good! Well worth the wait, particularly if you have Parkinson's. Also, she is among a fairly small group of focs at UTSW (or iin the city for that matter, todo DBS system programming). Shehas a tremendous amount of compassion, encourages family involvement, is extremely nice, and is simply a wonderful Human being. If you are considring using Dr. Chitnis, consider yourself to be blessed if you become one of her patients. As a local Neurosurgeon said to me recently "Dr. Chitnis really is the complete package!"
