Shivani Rangwala, MD

Dr. Shivani Rangwala is a neurosurgeon in the Department of Neurosurgery at Boston Children’s Hospital and an instructor of neurosurgery at Harvard Medical School. A pediatric neurosurgeon with specialized training in both neurosurgery and endovascular interventions, she focuses on the treatment of epilepsy and cerebrovascular disorders in children. Her clinical expertise includes neuroendoscopy, microsurgery, and minimally invasive techniques such as MRI-guided laser ablation, deep brain stimulation, and stereoelectroencephalography.
Dr. Rangwala earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed her neurosurgical residency at the University of Southern California. She went on to complete dual fellowship training in pediatric cerebrovascular/endovascular surgery and pediatric neurosurgery at Boston Children’s Hospital.
