Dr. Sophia Ahmed, MD

I have seen her for over 1 year and had a recent MRI completed due to another issue. drove to the office to make the appointment and physically handed them my MRI and report( I asked them to do this prior and they couldnt give me a reason why it wasnt done) . I specified and stressed this appointment is to review the MRI as my other doctors strongly recommended me to visit her. It took over 1 hour to be seen at my visit. She had no reason why i was there, so i told her about mri. She leaves and comes back with a report that is over 9months old and then a ct result from last year. I brought ANOTHER copy of my results and handed them to her to review the scan. I asked her to LOOK over my scan. She read the report to me...in front of my face. That was the extent of her help. I was not given ANY guidance when asked what the big words meant like nodules and lesions. "oh, it came back normal and we should repeat in 1 year". I offered to stay later to again allow her to review it but nope, im… perfectly healthy. Waste of time and money. No compassion to my fears and felt blown. I know the front office is inept and I did everything possible to prepare them and the doctor. Im so upset and still left with questions.

if I can give no starts I would what can I say un professional rude she don't care about her clints they never pick up the phone good luck if you have pain because you will just have to deal with it. all the bad comment on here are veery true am changing doctor asap

Dr Ahmed made promises to call in a medication that has worked for me for twenty years. She never did. Rapid withdraw from this medication can be deadly and is a health hazard yet that’s the treatment I received from her after a telephone appointment because of COV19. Find someone else who won’t endanger your life and tell you they’ll call in medication and then refuse during a pandemic.

Dr. Ahmed couldn’t be more WONDERFUL!!! She is kind, understanding, intelligent and just plain terrific !!!

I have been on the phone three times today. On hold for at least an hour or more!! I get tired of hanging on the phone so I hang up and try again later. I have an appointment with Dr Ahmed. I need to cancel this appointment. So if you get this message, that is why I didn’t come. This is the only way to get through to Heart and Family. Changing Doctors is my only answer to this terrible way of being treated!!

Dr. Ahmed is wonderful and very knowledgeable, however, her nursing staff leaves a lot to be desired. Katie in Diagnostics is rude. As much as I love Dr. Ahmed, I'm changing neurologists. A doctor is only as good as their staff.

Dr. Ahmed is wonderful to me and has made the pain I experience less in her treatment of me, her experience of what I'm going through and her professionalism. I respect her greatly and feel blessed that I have found her for treatment.
