Dr. Spyros Peter Kokolis, MD

All these good reviews are definitely fixed and phony. I have been in the medical field for many years and I have seen many physicians. I have never in my life experienced such anxiety with this doctor. Unprofessional, terrible bed side manner, he curses, he's completely arrogant and has NO IDEA what he is taking about. Completely misdiagnosed me and told me that I needed a bunch of medicine for a heart condition that I DO NOT have. He said some terrible things that had me in agony for a month. I ended up getting two other options from fabulous cardiologists. Thank god I am ok because if I left it up to Dr Kokolis, he honestly would have given me a heart condition that I did not have in the first place. I do NOT recommend this doctor to ANYONE. Trust me when I tell you, as much as he brags about his knowledge in the field - it's the complete opposite. Good luck to all that are patients of his. He is by far the WORST doctor I have EVER encountered.

I feel extremely comfortable being in his care

They are very disorganized and I was confused with another patient in his office . I had to find another doc.

Expect to wait 2-3 hrs to get 5 minutes of his time. Office is a disaster - overcrowded and overbooked, the front desk person is overwhelmed (for one visit they forgot I was waiting there until I asked what was going on). They failed to return calls to get my bloodwork results (3 times). They failed to respond to questions from the pharmacy , which held up order for a full week. This is just negligence. He's got a nurse, an assistant ( to take your BP and blood) and an ultrasound technician in the back to help him, so I don't understand why it takes hours . I've been there 3 times, that's enough to tell me - start looking elsewhere!

The doctor is thorough and was very friendly BUT I feel like he made me do every test on every machine that he had in his office AND made me do blood tests which was bizarre --- since I had not fasted and was just after eating my lunch so what possible use would those tests be? It made me feel like he wanted to bump up my insurance fees as much as possible by making me use everything. The staff is very friendly but overly chatty which some people may like but I am going to get a check up not to listen to incessant chatter that went on and on and on...

I believe all of the positive reviews written about this man are fake. This doctor was unprofessional, rude, and arrogant. I came here for one concern which he completely ignored until I asked him to specifically address it. He picked up his cellphone 3 times in the middle of my appointment. At the end of it all he told me to go see a different doctor. He advertises himself as both a Cardiologist and a Primary Care Doctor. Stick to what you specialize in. You wasted my time.

Went for a basic physical checkup. Was less thoroughness than I've had in the past with other doctors. He may be better suited as a cardiologist, but not ideal for preventative care work.

Dr.Kokolis is such a wonderful doctor. I am surprised at the poorly rated reviews he has, I have never encounter anybody in his office that was not happy with his work. He has years of experience and is affiliated with many highly rated hospitals. We works well with other doctors and will direct you to the right place if you ever need a referral. His staff is very polite and as soon as you walk into that office, you can feel the love and care that him and his staff have. Making appointments is beyond easy. He is always on call and he personally gives his patients his number, just in case of any emergencies. I would recommend this doctor and every and anybody seeking medical care! You won't be sorry, ps. If you are running on a timed schedule always ask for the 1st available appointment of the day, that way you are in and out. He's so popular, the wait is bit ridiculous but that's because he's such an amazing doctor.

Nowadays, trying to find a competent, knowledgeable and compassionate physician like Dr. Kokolis is comparable to getting your wisdom teeth pulled out. You feel like a gambler playing slots when you make that call to schedule an appointment because you never know how adequate the doctor will be. Well rest assured that you won't have to worry about that with Dr. Kokolis. The fact that I've been coming to him for years and have him as my primary physician should speak volumes about what a great man he is. His medical expertise goes beyond that of cardiovascular care. He is sharp, attentive and very thorough when examining you, so that you can't help but trust him to make the most accurate diagnoses. And what really struck me was how he takes time out of his busy schedule to CALL ME from his own cellphone to let me know the results of my tests! Have you ever heard of a doctor doing that? I haven't. As an added bonus, his awesome staff always go out of their way to schedule the most… convenient appointments for me. The wait is a bit long, but that just means he's very popular and it's totally worth waiting for. I would recommend him, & I wish I could give more stars.

Dr. Kokolis is a dedicated and very knowledgable physician. When my 80 year old mother got very sick 5 years ago he not only saved her life at that time but has followed her closely since and has been there with us every step of the way with all of her subsequent numerous medical issues He is always kind and explains all options available to us and helps us decide what is best for her. Dr. Kokolis takes the time to call us personally to see how our mother is feeling and has given us his cell phone number to call him at anytime. I feel blessed and fortunate that we have Dr. Kokolis guiding us and he has not only treated my mother - but myself, my husband and numerous family members as well. I would without a doubt recommend Dr. Kokolis to anyone in need of medical help.
