Dr. Stanford K Shu, MD

It's Dr. Shu's way or the highway. Acts like he's the only pediatric neurologist and doesn't seek urgency. Although he knows his stuff, he doesn't step outside his comfort zone. I doubt he actually cares about most of his patients.

Dr Shu is very knowledgeable he takes information and talks with the kids and families in depth he will ask his staff to research symptoms and call you with info he always is looking at the long term results and cure he is the best of 5 Neuro doctors we went to cant praise Dr. Shu Enough....

Dr. Shu is a friendly guy who treats his patients well. I am also a doctor and I had to take my son in for a neuro consult after he had multiple surgeries.. I was very impressed with Dr. Shu's knowledge, explanations and concern for my son. He was very down to earth and my wife and I felt comfortable with him. I recommend Dr. Shu!

Shu is great he wont drug your kid out and he listens to kids and their family, he saved my kids life and well beingthanks Dr. Shu

We saw this Dr once, I should have walked out when I first arrived and took a look at the place. The office is in the middle of the worst area, there were at least 20 people in the waiting room, and I waited for an hour prior to seeing the Dr. After our brief consultation, the Dr prescribed, a wait and see approach...wait for loss of use of extremities blurred vision in eyes etc...Sorry, but we've seen numerous Dr's and have never heard such absurd comments! After 30 minutes if listening to his nonsense we left and were slapped with a $452 bill! The billing department sent our invoice to a wrong address then what I wrote on file and now we've been slapped with a collection notice and interest on top of the original amount! Our main doctors are at Cedar Sinai and we have never experienced any issues with them. So much for trying a doctor that is local!
