Dr. Stanton Lee Longenecker, MD

I’m writing this review on behalf of my dad, Mike Kaiser. Doctor Longenecker recently did a knee replacement on my dad. After several weeks, and excessive pain, it wasn’t healing properly. He went to talk with the doctor who told him that an adhesive may have become detached and that he might have to do the surgery all over again. The doctor used some new adhesive instead of the traditional titanium rods. My dad had to get some type of scan to see if this is the case. If he has to get operated on again it will set him back another 8 weeks. This is unacceptable.

May 2017, my husband had his left knee replaced by Dr Longnecker. Doc just had his right shoulder replaced, was cleared by his doctor, however within 4-6 weeks post op my husband began complaining of severe pain and unstable, we returned for a follow up and were told it was arthritis. Another visit, same response. After 6 months of The same response we found a doctor who told us he had neuropathy. We have exhausted all kinds of treatments and have to accept this horrible disability and loss of any quality of life. My husband is a retired JSO officer of 52 years. We are still so bitter over all this.

Dr Longenecker was outstanding in doing my knee replacement revision. Very caring and explained exactly what he was going to do. No pain and back to playing golf. Recommend Dr Longenecker highly.

As an athletic 55 year old, with a torn ACL and a husband who is a physician, I could choose any doc in town. Longenecker is your man. Outstanding team with professionalism and attention to fine detail. Femoral nerve block (3 days), spinal -outstanding. No pain , little swelling, perfect results one week out. CPM and Iceman very helpful. Dr. Longenecker knows what he is doing and does it well. Thank you

Dr. Longenecker is one of the kindest, gentlest physicians I have ever met. He recommended an injection instead of surgery right away. He gave me the injection himself and asked him assistant to come in and hold my hand when he thought it might be "unpleasant". I would recommend him to all of my friends who are looking for a caring orthopedic physician. By the way, the wait was nothing. I'm really impressed.

He was mean to the nurses that took care of me at St. Vincents and was very ill tempered.

I truly LOVE this Man. He is not only the greatest Orthopedic Surgeon in the world. He truly cares about you as a person. Dr. Longenecker has been our Orthopedic Surgeon for both me and my husband since 1994. We have sent many of our family and friends to him.
