Dr. Stanton I Moldovan, MD

My mother recently shattered her shoulder and decided to have her shoulder and arm reconstructed at the Fondren Orthopedic Group LLP inHouston TX. This guy, stanton moldovan, who was the Neurologists. I dont say this lightly, i dont like saying things behind backs. I'm going to be bold here. Hes old, maybe late 70s, early 80s. Very loud and over powering to where he wants to control the entire room. Very to to be and my mother who was straight out of surgery. I tried to ask a question and this guy shushed me! I was worried about my mom so I didnt react as I normally would have. Peace of dog du du, I shoulda backed his old egotistical bunghole in the corner and showed him my teeth. Listen, like I said I dont listen talkin behind peoples back, but I think folks should hear our story. Bryan.

Dr. Stanton Moldovan seen me when I had major back surgery at Texas orthopedic Hospital. He was able to manage my pain. It was such a relief to have someone that could control the pain on my side. Thank You Dr. Moldovan

This Dr. may be very smart but I was on the hospital after and extensive surgery. Without getting into my back story too much, I have been on a lot of pain medications and have slowly been working on bringing it down. He refused to talk to me about it saying “I don’t have time for you, but then stated I am on way too much medicine.” I get that but he didn’t even want to understand the situation. He was very rude, crass and downright disrespectful to me. He spent all of a minute in my room and “knew” everything about me without everyone asking me anything. I would not recommend any one to ask for his help.

Gave me RX that I told him I had had bad experiences with in the past.

Very condescending when asked questions. Misdiagnosed my very frail mother with Parkinson's and prescribed harsh drugs for the treatment thereof. She's now in much worse condition due to the drugs. Be very careful!

I was seen by Dr. Moldovan while hospitalized at Texas Orthopedic Hospital following a fusion of my midfoot. He came up with a pain management plan that seems to be doing the job (thank God). I have sufferred with chronic pain for years (back, neck and fibromyalgia). I anticipated the pain from this surgery combined with existing pain would have been too much to bear. His choice to combine medications has been very beneficial for me. Once I'm healed from the surgery, I need him to conquer the everyday chronic pain. Thank you Dr. Moldovan

Saw this physician in the hospital. My Dr did not consult him. In a round about way, he saw me through anesthesia to moniter my post op PCA. When he entered my room, he introduced himself as a neurologist but asked psych questions.He was rude to my visitors. It didn't occur to him that I was only a few hours post-op from a lumbar fusion. I would not refer patients to him.
