Dr. Stephanie Christina Mayes

Horrible bedside manner. Very blunt, rushed, minimum communication. Seemed irritated and annoyed from when she first walked in. During my c section could hear her speaking about her personal life. I get it people have bad days but I would expect some level of professionalism. Said she didn’t know why my labor wasn’t progressing. Not what you want to hear from the doctor treating you. She did do a great job on my incision though. All in All she did her job as a doctor.

Dr Stephanie Mayes is incredible she delivered my first baby via emergency c section she warned me that My child could be going to the NICU and she did end up going. She is there for you at bed side I don’t get why people say she’s horrible. She asks you if you need anything and or if you have questions. She’s a busy doctor and has tons of patients. She was there for my diabetes during pregnancy and after she’s always is willing to get you want you need and take care of any concern. She is fast at what she does and knows exactly what she’s doing on paps and delivery and stitches. She can do it fast and effectively. She’s amazing highly recommend drive a hr just to go to her.

Dr. Stephanie Mayes is the best doctor. She delivered my first baby via c section everyone knows her at the hospital and does amazing stitches. She warned me about what kid of type of pregnancy I would have. She’s very up front and cares about you personally. She’s a busy doctor well known and kind. She been my Obgyn for years. Highly recommend her. I think people don’t think even great doctors don’t have ups and downs. She’s the best out there. I will continue to use her.

I did not like her bedside manner. I was made to feel that my health worries were being trivialized or dismissed. I was surprised that she sneezed into her hands but did not wash them before my examination.

I had high hopes to meet Dr. Mayes as we had been reassured, "You will really like her!". Maybe she was just tired, or having a bad day, but my meeting with her was very rushed and I felt like she'd rather be yucking it up with the office staff than answering questions regarding a first time pregnancy. She did everything but look at her watch during my visit with her. I did not feel like she cared about me as a patient at all. My experience was very disappointing.
