Dr. Stephen Robert Bindner, MD

Doctor and staff were great. My whole family uses him.

Staff is very rude and have made numerous errors on scheduling. Not so with his previous staff on hospital parkway.

I'm fairly new with Bindner. I've seen him twice now. Both of my previous primary care physicians had abruptly, without explanation, retired from practice, leaving us to scramble for a new one. We chose Bindner primarily because he accepts Medicare. At my first visit with Bindner, he was purposeful and engaged and demonstrated a good sense of humor. I was gratified to think I had found a doctor for the long term. On my second visit, though, he seemed distracted, we didn't talk much, he ignored one of my questions while staring at his computer screen. He actually spent more time on his keyboard than talking to me. So he is still on probation, as far as I'm concerned. My next appointment is August, I will follow up then.

Asks all the right questions. Caring, friendly, conversational and has accurate diagnosis.

Office staff are rude. Dr doesn't listen.

Good Dr and easy to work with, have gone to him for years.

My son was 18 and was having problems walking. He would fall for no reason and his legs would have what they call trimmers. Dr. Bindner did no test and no exam. Gave my son a rush thru his office like he did not want to be bother with him. Told him he needed to lose weight and to get a walker. HORRIBLE HHORRIBLE NON CARING DOCTOR. HE WAS SUCH A TOTAL JERK. My son and I walked out of the office shaking our heads thinking what just happen. We did go to a great doctor and unfortunly my son was diagnosed with MS. I rate this doctor low of the lows. HORRIBLE !!! There is no way this doctor deserve four stars.

Good luck trying to schedule an appt. On numerous occasions of me trying to schedule, the receptionist picks up, and puts me on hold for 10 min. I always end up hangin up and calling back, only for the repeat to happen. It's quite annoying. Dr. Bindner didn't follow up with me, but I don't guess I expected him to. My issue is still an issue, so I will be seeking another specialist.
