Dr. Stephen Frank Lefler

Dr Lefler delivered 3 of my babies within a 3yr time span...All repeat c sections due to having 2 previous sections...He saved the lives of my 3 children and myself each time. Hes NEVER been rude,mean or hateful. Hes ALWAYS been very caring,understanding and outspoken. A lot of the problems is because people are to sensitive and doesn't like when a doctor tells them what they're doing is wrong??

I can't believe some of the comments here. He's the best. He listens, and takes such good care of me. Caring and compassionate.

I was 5 months pregnant before i received my first ultrasound. I was then brought into a room where i was then told by Dr. Leffler my child had Spina Bifida. I left distraught with an appointment to see UAMS little rock angels the following month. I sat in excruciating anxiety and sadness for that month until the day arrived. When UAMS did the ultrasound they found out there were absolutely no signs of Spina Bifida. I was relieved, angry and agitated at that point. On my next visit with Dr. Leffler i asked how he could make such a mistake? I was then scolded, and told off by him saying that UAMS sent him the results, and my child was "deformed." I proceeded to the waiting area where i waited for my results that he already reviewed to be faxed. About 20 minutes later I was given records which had some disturbing information on it so i did a double take , and realized I was given another patients records. i then went to administration to speak with the office manager where i… explained what happened. Leffler was brought in and proceeded to yell at me. This man needs to be fired, and retired!

Switched doctors because of his rudeness to me as a patient

I have been currently seeing Dr. Lefler throughout my pregnancy. A lot of people that have asked who my doctor was did not know of him so I wanted to look at some other people's reviews to get some ideas of what others thought of him. I am in a lot of surprise by all of the bad things that is being said about him. He has been so wonderful so far. He's helped me with any questions or concerns and always gets back to me by email. He's so nice to my husband and I and makes us feel so welcome and special! I hope others have the same experience as we are having!

RUN FROM THIS DR. DO NOT SEE HIM.

Dr Lefler is the rudest, most uncaring, excuse for a doctor I have ever seen. He admitted my sister into the hospital after we begged him to. She was screaming in pain, had been throwing up for 5 days, and her periods would last an avg of 10 days. So heavy she had to wear adult diapers. She would go through about 8 of them a day and she would pass half dollar size clots. Not to mention the pain she would have during her cycle. Some days she was so weak she could barely get out of bed. He told her this was all normal and she was going through change due to her age. She is just 34!!! In the hospital she told him she wanted a different doctor. He said "You can't have one!" She told him she wanted a second opinion. He said, "You're not getting one!" Everyone by law is entitled to a second opinion. We got another doctor to come in and do a consult. He told her she should have had a hysterectomy a long time ago. Dr Lefler comes in the next day and punished her for consulting another… doctor and lowers her pain meds to the bare minimum so she is writhing in pain. The nurses complained about his treatment towards her as did her family. We called hospital administration and they have put a restraining order against this sorry excuse for a doctor. Please DO NOT go to this doctor unless you want to be treated less than.

I was diagnosed with a fibroid tumor. I opted for the complete hysterectomy. Dr. Lefler has been awesome. Made me comfortable. Took care of all my needs and then some. I've healed really good. I would recommend him to everyone. He's also helping me quit smoking. Thanks again.
