Straight forward, good humor and bed side manner. For General surgery I wont use anyone else, just feel comfortable with him and staff.

I have been treated by Sos several times with satisfaction. However the treatment of my knee yesterday Dr.. Batagglia particularly, and all the staff generally, was excellent in all respects. I wanted him to know that the cotisone shot he gave my while I condsidered knee replacement provided immediate relief although it was expected to take 2-4 days to be totally effective. I have had no pain since the injection and will probably continue with injections as needed as opposed to the knee replacement. Dr. Batagglia is excellent in all regards as is evident in the scale above.

I liked him well enough however his office staff are horrible!! You can never get a straight answer about payments and then they will remove you from the surgery schedule without notice. Horrible experience. Definitely recommend him just wish he had different office staff.

I am only commenting on this because he was my mothers Dr. when she had an OP surgery done on a tumor. He said it looked innocent enough and was probably benign. IT came back a carcinoma, and in 6 months we lost her to lung cancer and bone cancer. We as her family believe that she had signs of cancer long before but ignored them as many often do. She liked him and appreciated his courteous and caring manner. She did well, and fortunately the Lord spared her any real pain from her fate with cancer. I appreciate him as a Dr. and as a former co-worker who I enjoyed working with for many years.
