Dr. Steven L Lyon, MD

I had an appointment with Dr.Lyons because one of my ears was popping and felt plugged. Despite the simplicity of the reason for the appointment, Lyons failed to provide any answers. He was incredibly rude and condescending the entire time, and didn’t let me get a word in without invalidating it. The appointment lasted over an hour and I left without any answers. Instead, he suggested that I go on a diet, even though I was suffering from an eating disorder and was underweight. When my mom told him that was a bad idea, he told her “she’s fine” and “she’ll live.” He then proceeded to ask me if I was “an anorexic.” This was insensitive and made me very uncomfortable. My fight or flight response was activated during the appointment, as I felt the urge to leave the room. He lacked all interpersonal skills and made me upset. Young women should NOT go to Dr.Lyons.

I was referred to Dr. Lyons because of my horrible migraines i was dealing with every morning. I had reoccuring sinus infections and eustacian tube disfunction. He fixed my deviated septum and reduced my turbinate -problem solved. Thanks Dr. Lyons!

He is one of the few real caring physicians left.

I needed tubes. As an adult, I wanted to be asleep during the procedure. He argued the point, scheduled the procedure for the next visit in the office ...

Everything was great.

I had severe breathing problems from injuries many years ago. Dr. Lyon gave me my life back after he performed sinus surgery to correct a deviated septum, a nasal break and turbinate problems. He takes the time to make an accurate diagnosis and then follows through with what needs to be done. I expected extreme pain with this surgery, but to my surprise, THERE WAS NO PAIN WHATSOEVER. There was some swelling, but it was not painful. With this surgery, my vision has also improved. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Lyon for the gift he gave me, the ability to breathe like a normal person again. Dr. Lyon cares about his patients, and I will definitely refer others to him.

Dr. Lyon has is a great Doctor who takes the time to figure out what the problem is and was able to diagnose my condition of the ear that no one else was able to diagnose for years. The diagnosis was very unique and many Doctors hadn't even heard of the condition, but when I went for further testing, the diagnosis was accurate. I ended up getting the help I needed which solved years of severe migraines.
