I was referred to Dr. Sondheimer by my previous opthamologist when it became evident that I needed cataract surgery. Dr. Sondheimer definitely put me at ease, explained to me exactly how he would proceed with the procedure and what to expect during the recovery. Following the procedure he visited me in the recovery room. His staff called me later in the day to inquire how I was doing, and Dr. Sondheimer, himself, called me in the early evening. And, then, I saw him the next day in the office. I have been totally impressed with how Dr Sondheimer treats me when I come into the office. He always answers all my questions and when I leave my appointment I feel that I have received excellent care.
