Dr. Sudesh J Ebenezer, MD

I gave two stars so people would know that I am not biased in any way. Dr. Sudesh Ebenezer has very little regard for patient safety and positive outcomes. His infection rate is among the highest in the state and he routinely leaves patients in far worse condition than when they came to him. About a year after he initially operated on me the equipment he placed in my spine had migrated and I required additional surgery. I found a new surgeon out of U of M Ann Arbor and when he looked at the scans of the hardware Ebenezer placed he described it as “a complete mess” and stated I was lucky to be alive. It was a horrific experience. I was in pain for a very long time and Ebenezer was continually dismissive of my pain and said everything was normal. Moral of the story, do your research. If you can do not let this man near you or anyone you love

They should call him Dr. Cripple! He left me with no use of my right foot and leg. He doesn't care anything about his patients. Seven months after his botched back surgery and I still haven't received my 90 day follow-up. He has rescheduled my appointment 8 times in the last thirty days!! Avoid this guy at all costs...I wish I had

My mother, who is 87 years old and in excruciating pain from a previous fall, waited more than two hours in the waiting room until finally giving up and leaving WITHOUT seeing the doctor. She was in too much pain to stay any longer. This is no way to treat any patient, let alone an elderly woman who can barely leave her home due to mobility issues. My sister had to help my dad get here there, and the likelihood of her ever going back is nil, which is unfortunate, because she is in so much pain.

Dr.s diagnoses and what to expect from my surgery were completely correct. I am back to walking more than 4 miles a day and hiking up to 8-12 miles on a day off. Thank you Dr. Ebenezer and staff at Providence Neurosurgery.

Dr Ebenezer and the rest of his group were excellent and are responsible for saving my son's life. They and there office staff are excellent to deal with, straight forward but extremely kind and excellent with my son's care.
